Harrowstone

A once-famous prison, this is now little more than ruins, sitting atop a large hill in view of the town of Ravengro.

Built in 4564, held many dangerous individuals. Towns from across the region would often pay to have criminals incarcerated there. Believed to have been caused during a prison riot, a fire destroyed much of the building in 4661, including the underground facilities of the eastern wing. The fire caused the deaths of all inmates and guards as well as the warden and his wife (although the cause of his wife’s presence at that time is unknown).

The prison is little more than ruins now, and has been left vacant since the fire, exactly 50 years this year.
